Artist Info: Hailing from Washington DC, Thunderpaw returns with their 2nd EP, Aeon Long Death of this Untrodden Austral World. Formed in 2018 , Thunderpaw is the thunderous bass and gritty vocals of Rob ‘Kalani’ Tifford, the churning drums of Andrew Labens and the incendiary guitar of Kenny Pirog.
This EP is an exploration of our emotions as we journey through life on our search for personal enlightenment. “For The Girls”, opens the EP with an honest punchy little number that attempts to make amends to jilted past lovers and the recognition of wrongs done. “Untitled Love Song (number 42)” is just another lonely evening at home wondering how it all went wrong. “Runaway” takes note of our love of power and our love of abusing power. “Monday Musings” is where we finally find our light. The album closes with the creeper of a tune “Big Star” and our awareness of the truth and ability to see the deceptions we are being fed.
The revolution will not be televised. Music is the Weapon. Written by Thunderpaw. Produced by Gianmaria Conti at the fabled Montserrat House.
